Jan Jurka

I am a mathematician, more specifically a category theorist, and I finished my Ph.D. at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic under the supervision of John Bourke in April 2025.

During my Ph.D. studies I wrote the dissertation: Weak and enriched aspects of category theory.

Email address: jan.jurka@mail.muni.cz

Research interests: Category theory, universal algebra, and order theory. I also enjoy thinking about effect algebras, semigroup theory, theoretical computer science, and artificial intelligence.
